Terms of Transit
Our commitment to transparency starts here. We don't hide behind fine print. These terms define the parameters of our partnership and ensure your cargo is handled with the precision it deserves.
Liability & Freight Protocol
At BRIAN UNLIMITED DISTRIBUTION COMPANY, we take the weight off your shoulders. But how do we handle the unexpected? Our liability limitations are structured around industry standards to protect both the carrier and the shipper. Why leave it to chance when you can have clarity?
1. Scope of Service
Under these terms, BRIAN UNLIMITED DISTRIBUTION COMPANY serves as either a direct carrier or a freight forwarder depending on the specific dispatch order. All transit times provided are estimates. We're fast, but we're also realistic about road conditions and terminal congestion.
2. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for loss, damage, or delay is strictly limited. For domestic transit in Maine and surrounding corridors, liability is capped at a standard rate per pound unless a higher value is declared in advance. Don't risk it; always declare your high-value cargo clearly during the booking process.
We won't be held responsible for force majeure events—incidents beyond our reasonable control such as extreme Atlantic weather, port strikes, or sudden regulatory shifts. It's about maintaining a sustainable logistics ecosystem.
Quick Summary
- Liability caps apply to all un-declared freight.
- Claims must be filed within 14 days of delivery.
- 3 CHASE AVENUE serves as our primary legal jurisdiction.
"Why did we choose BRIAN UNLIMITED DISTRIBUTION COMPANY? Because they make the complex world of freight liability simple to understand. Their contracts are fair, and their delivery record in Augusta is unmatched."
